Beyond Monet : The Artful Science of Instructional Integration

Instructional Intelligence Institutes

Led by Dr. Barrie Bennett, Professor at OISE/UT and co-author of Beyond Monet “ The Artful Science of Instructional Intelligence, the Instructional Intelligence Institutes provide school teams with the opportunity to:

* build instructional repertoires
* understand and apply inductive strategies (concept attainment and concept formation)
* understand and apply mind maps and concept maps
* understand and apply graphic organizers
* understand and experience effective group work
* connect instruction to outcomes and assessment for student success

School teams are comprised of one administrator and three teachers and it is the expectation that the team membership is consistent through all sessions of the Institute.
