The text is geared much more towards providing information for trained professionals
When it comes to Applied Behavior Analytic work for people with autistic-spectrum disorders, you just don't get any better than this team.
Robert and Lynn Koegel et al. have created some of the finest teaching materials available for those working with people with autistic-spectrum disorders.
They are outstanding teachers and clinicians, and this work shows their skill in presenting what they do. This book, and similar ones they have helped to put out are highly recommended.
A "must have" book for people working with autistic children,
For years the Koegel's have produced and documented many of the current "best practices" used by people working with autistic children. This inexpensive paperback is an excellent summary of their contributions, for example self-management, natural settings, generalization.
