Fitzpatrick, PhD, MBA, RN, FAAN, is currently editor of "Nursing Education Perspectives", the flagship journal for the National League for Nursing and the Elizabeth Brooks Ford Professor of Nursing, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. She has received numerous honors and awards including the "American Journal of Nursing" Book of the Year Award 18 times. Dr. Fitzpatrick is widely published in nursing and health care literature, and has authored or edited more than 20 books by Springer. She is former senior editor for the "Annual Review of Nursing Research.
